EQ settings for surround Speakers? (1 Viewer)

I have a yamaha 2400 reciever and JBl's all around. My surrounds are e10's. I recently have found one that is all messed up, no sound from the woofer and the tweeter is cracked but playing. I am getting it replaced from jbl (I hope) But I was thinking to prevent this should i mess with my eq settings? If so is there a guide or something because I do not really know what I am doing.

Sounds like a problem is playing them too loud, since both the woofer and crossover blew. EQ won’t fix that – just make sure you have them set to small.
