Episode II soundtrack question (1 Viewer)

Last week I purchased the Episode II DVD. In the soundtrack menu it reads " English Dolby Digital 5.1 EX ". I always thought it would be labeled as 6.1. Am I missing something here? Is this DD EX or is it something else? Do they call it 5.1 because that's what it REALLY is (matrixed)? Are all DD EX soundtracks labeled 5.1 EX or some DVD menus actually say 6.1? Thaks for any replies.

The center surround channel in DD-EX is matrixed from the left and right, that's why it's not 6.1
