Boy, I finally got a chance to see this here in town at our arthouse theatre. This was an amazing and frustrating film to sit through...it's a really powerful work...one that kind of tests your willingness to have faith in the Amercian Capitalist system. GO SEE THIS FILM...it's one of the best of 2005.

Normally, I like these types of documentaries, but for some reason I kept falling asleep during this one. I tried watching it twice.

1st reply and it only took 7 months!

Really, try to see this one Edwin. It is an excellent documentary. People not only lost their jobs, 401k plans and nest eggs, but some lost their lives (and I'm not talking about Ken Lay). Just goes to show that not even death is beneath what corporations will do to make a buck.

I try watching it again once it hits the 7 day rental rack at the local video shop.

I recommend this as well. Whenever it airs on HDnet, I try and catch it.

i know this is a movie message board but i find it really silly to open a new thread in the dvd section of the message board just to ask a simple question.

does the canadian release by Allience have english subtitles? and all the extras from the US release?
