Enhanced for 16x9/question about dvd player setting (1 Viewer)

If one has a 16x9 enhanced feature (like on a WEGA TV) must the dvd player's menu item ALSO be changed from 4x3 to 16x9? Or is it sufficient to just change the menu item on the TV itself to enhanced mode?

you have to put your dvd in 19/9 mode
