Energy V2.2? Any opinions? (1 Viewer)

Just curious, does anyone own these. If so, how do you like them?
I'm going through a long search process of buying bookshelf speakers.

Jake, I listened to the V2.2s a couple of weeks ago when I was speaker shopping. They were hooked up to a Classe CD player and a Classe integrated amp at a high-end store. All in all, I found the sound to be too warm to the point of being diffuse. The sound lacked the soundstage accuracy that I like. I also listened to Totem Mites bookshelf speakers on the same system and found the problem with soundstaging. In the end, I bought a pair of Totem Arro floorstanding speakers. The soundstaging from these speakers is outstanding.
By the way, the only other bookshelf speaker I listened to that day were B&W CDM-1NTs at another store. They were connected to a Bryston 5.1 pre-amp and power amp and a Pioneer Elite DV-38A DVD-Audio player. I found the sound to be horribly bright. It was so awful that I could only listen to about two minutes of Dire Straits "Money for Nothing", which is song I really like.
