Energy: Encore Act 6 or Take 5. Which to choose? (1 Viewer)

While the Take 5s are discontinued, they're still available from a few dealers.

The Encore is a tad bit more expensive but the center channel looks unimpressive...

Any recommendations on which to choose?

I've installed Take 5's and Act6's and like them both. The older Take 5+1 is ok, but not as nice as the Take 5.2 System. If you are doing a silver flat panel on the wall, do a Act6 for sure. The Take 5.2 and Act6 sound similar, I like the Act6 wall brackets better and the sub is nice. If money is not a problem, look at doing the new Take Sat's or LCR's depending on your situation. We did a system today with 3 LCR's and 2 SAT's and a 10.3 and it was pretty awesome.
