Anyone have any experiance with this sub. i was thinking about gettin this i can get a good price on it from a friend.

ENergy;s XL series subs haven't changed for a few years
Yes my freind has one its pretty good for HT.
Not so nice for music not very accurate and muddy very hard to adjust for music. Also at med/high volume lvls there can be some chuffing from the port on lower FS
Depending on your price theres better ht/music subs to be bought. SVS HSU and if you can make a cabneit see ADIRE
This system my freind has is around 3 months old. Consisting of a YAmaha RX-V740 reciever with mission M34 front M3C2 center M31 rears room is Very large 15x30 and about half the ceiling is valted.

If tis your freinds bring it to your place and try it.
Also why is he selling it?
