Energy Connoisseur C-3 vs. Ascend Acoustics cmt-340 (1 Viewer)

i was planning to get the ascends until i read a review saying how good the energy's are. i listen to almost strictly music in a 2-channel setup. these are the same price, so which would you guys prefer? anyone hear both? p.s. i hate high shrill speakers.

by the way, im using a harman hk3475 stereo receiver (110 x 2) and dayton wires

Rich- Both speakers are reviewed at www.audiovideoreviews.com . Both reviews have measurements and both speakers measure (and are said to sound! ) extremely well. I had a pair of C-3's. Really awesome speakers for the price. I have also looked at the Ascends, and am keenly waiting for full range towers. The C-3's do have the edge on bass extension, but they cost a little more. Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with either one.
