ISP's potentially engaging in access tiering -- is this a legitimate concern or not?
Because it's an empty threat that won't be executed, it's not a concern? So, the proposed network neutrality legislation is not needed?
Or it is not a concern because an ISP should be allowed to give primary access to sites that pay them and hamper, restrict, or deny access to the sites that don't? So, the proposed network neutrality legislation is wrongheaded?
Is access tiering hot air, a real problem, or a right ISP's should have?
I'd like to know why people are so dismissive and casual about this as well. Sounds like a very real threat from where I stand. Businesses will never cease finding ways to fuck us over wherever they can. Nip it in the bud I say.
