I emailed Outlaw about the prospect of having a 7.1 music mode on the new Outlaw Preamp. Here is the response:
Hello Jeff,
The Model 950 will be one of the first products on the market to offer
Crystal Extra Surround, which will be capable of 7.1 music! The September
"Latest News" will go up later this week with information about the 950,
770, the ICBM and our interconnects.

7.1 Sound??? as in a 7 channel DPL2 or a true competior to Logic 7???

If it has even a passing semblance to Logic7, I'd be shocked as hell....in a good way. Ain't holdin' my breath though-comes with being a natural born cynic.
