Given that my car is still not repaired, I broke down and ordered it from Amazon, so hopefully by the weekend it'll be in my hot little hands.

I can't believe how good the vocals sound!

Ab buddy of mine did the ProTools work on a few of the tracks. He said that the original Sun master tapes had three tracks, labelled "Band", "Drums", and "Elvis" (kind of funny that it was not marked "vocal"). He was surprised at how good the original tracks sounded, particularly the soloed drums. Apparently the outtakes were amusing as well, like after a take, Elvis saying "That's great everybody, now let's go get a sandwich". Audio history of Elvis getting fat.
