It is still something we are trying to do, but source film elements have serious problems which require an extensive restoration before a new master could be created. Thanks.

it is a little disheartening to see little movement from WB when there is so much activity
at other studios, who are 4k scanning so many classic films nowdays.
i promised myself only to buy blurays of restored 4k scans, and boy i can barely keep up with the new releases!
yet--all of WB's classic musicals are due for a restoration / 4k scan.
the longer they wait on -Raintree County- the more it's going to cost them.
my favorite elizabeth taylor - BUtterfield 8- is like a transfer from the early 2000's
will i ever see it restored and released on blu?
In that case, I wonder why Warners have not released this on an Archive MOD. They've released numerous other Elizabeth Taylor films on DVD-R. I have most of them!
well maybe not all -- for warner archive's THE GLASS SLIPPER w leslie caron a really old, dirty print was
used for the transfer.
