oh, I am tempted. My local Borders and FYE both have copies of Elite's Re-animator and I am torn whether to buy it or not. I hear that it is OOP then I hear that it isn't... well is it?
Well... I just wanted to know what you other HTFers think... should I pay $25 to get it now or wait until the new Anchor Bay edition comes? Thanks. [IMG]

Anchor Bay's site no longer lists Re-Animator as a coming attraction, so perhaps a release from them is no longer in the cards...

It was re-released. I say go for it. It isn't a compromised version, and is a nice edition to boot. Unfortunately, non-anamorphic. If that is a stickler for you (and for me it nearly kills the deal), then you may wish to wait. But two commentaries and OAR is nice to me.

Elite's edition of Re-Animator is top notch. I didn't start buying DVD's till about 2 years ago and by the time I got around to buying it, it went OOP. So, to eBay I went and it ended up stealing $50 out of my wallet. Now about 2 months ago Elite desided to start making it again and it can be had for 20 bucks. I say run, don't walk to your local Borders and pick it up before they deside to pull it again!
