PLEASE chack this out, it is amazing:

    http://www.di.fm/edmguide/edmguide.html

You can browse different types of music and see what you like and don't like - between 1-8 samples of each category (well over 100)

I have ~150 different CD's that I have collected over the years (electronic music), but I have had trouble classifying them.

In an hour, I found I am into Downtempo (Chillout specifically) more than anything else.

    AWESOME site.

Which, of course, was the first thing I did when I went to the site...[IMG] Yipes!

Great site though. I've always leaned to IDM myself and don't much care for the Goa stuff. Lots of others to start sampling.

I'd love to see this same kind of site for other genres. Progressive Rock would benefit with its multiple sub-groupings.

I told you not to! [IMG]

Yeah, I am into IDM, most all the Downtempo (chillout mostly), Industrial, Detroit, and most of the 'good' turntablism/DJ stuff.

I actually own a lot of CD's that have tracks the author used on that site!
