I saw a newsletter for Chicago's Music Box Theatre which is screening both film. I'll have to go and see these two films quick as they are on a short screening there this month.

So, it's been a while and the release is less than two months away. Yet there's been no sign of the set on Amazon (except this weird page: http://www.amazon.com/dp/8875840059/). Check out the open-pack shot there as well. So I'm a little nervous. This is still coming on time, right?

Not much, IMHO. I gave a copy of it away not long ago. Can't remember what region. I gave it to a film student. Hope he got something out of it. I certainly didn't, although it was certainly unusual.

Just read AJ's bio. I cannot believe he is 78 years old. After Santa Sangre back in '89-'90, I would have thought we'd see many more films from him. Now, I'm hoping for just one more!

Wow, I had totally missed this was coming. I just saw El Topo on the big screen a couple weeks ago and was amazed at how colorful it is when you're not seeing a 10th generation bootleg.
