Alejandro Jodorowsky was present at TIFF, where he gave a talk.
It won't let me post a link, but you can read the interview at ain't it cool news' main page, under the title "Kannibal Spends A Weekend Of Fear With ALEJANDRO JODOROWSKY!!"
If I had to make a guess as to what company he's working with on the R1 dvd releases I'd say it was Fantoma, as they have a working relationship with him from their Fando y Lis dvd, and mentioned on their website that they wanted to release more of his films, but were unable to due to rights issues. Anchor Bay is a possibility, too, as Anchor Bay UK worked with him on the 2 disc Santa Sangre. If I had my way, it'd be Blue Underground releasing them, as they're cheaper than Criterion and have similarly high standards (though I'm only judging Fantoma based on the quality of their Fando y Lis dvd, which did look damn good, just not as good as a Blue Underground or a Criterion disc might've, and for all I know they might put out better work when they're not working with a "lost" film).
