[tardy turtle] "DVDs taste like purple!" [/tardy turtle]

Great announcement! Let's hope this sells well enough that some of the earlier Independent Film Channel "Greg" stuff can be released later.

I figured we'd get these eventually, but YAY! for the announcement. I hope that they get Green & Levy to do some commentary tracks, Green's talk show appearances promoting the show were hilarious.

I've heard a rumor that IFC will be reviving the show, so it's a safe bet that IFC-Greg will be on dvd eventually regardless of how the Fox version does.

er... anyone know if these were filmed 16:9 ?? they came the same time as Andy Richter and I know that was shown 16:9 on FOX HDTV.. but unsure about this....

Well, my off-air S-VHS tapes say "in Fox Widescreen, where available" (or somesuch) on the opening credits, though I'm not sure if it was shot 16:9 or if it was shot 4:3 and "matted" for the HD telecast.

If it was shot 4:3 and "matted" (cropped) for widescreen, then I hope they release it 4:3. If it was shot 16x9 and "cropped" for the 4:3 broadcasts, then bring on a widescreen release!

I'd don't want a repeat of WB's MARred releases of ER and Kung Fu (shot/composed for 4:3 but cropped/matted to 16x9 for the DVD).

Andy..

that's a good sign then... Andy Richter also had the 'Fox Widescreen' and it's in glorious 16:9 on HDNet.. so this is really REALLY a good sign. And for the 'unaired' pilot (which I've see) since it was recut and bacame "Welcome to Sweetknuckle Junction"... this is looking good, blah.

Now that "shows that didn't get a chance" are coming out like Tick, Firefly, and now Greg the Bunny, hopefully we can see the Norm Show, Andy Richter Controls the Universe, Pitts, Lone Gunmen, Night Visions, and Freaky Links among the many others who never got their fair share on the networks, on DVD. I have a whole lot more, :)

I never saw this show during its initial run but am very curious and a fan of a few of the people involved in this show so I will definitely be picking this up.

Oh wow... I completely forgot that "blah" came from this show. It's such an important part of my vocabulary now.

Uncut, uncensored and unrelenting, Greg the Bunny stars Seth Green and Eugene Levy and is rude, crude, and stuffed with attitude. TV wasn't ready for him. Are you? The complete series on DVD includes two never aired episodes and much more. Puppets are people too!
Remember Greg the Bunny? It was a show that had high hopes, but only lasted 11 episodes, leaving 2 "in the can." Now Fox is releasing all 13 episodes on 2 DVDs on October 19th, with lots of extras for fans.
