I just bought 3 games from EB -- some used, some new. Why do they feel that each case needs several stickers on it? I wouldn't care if the case was shrink-wrapped, but instead I have to try my hardest to get each sticker off at home ... usually failing miserably and ending up with sticky goo left all over the cases. ARGH!! Someone send the real ultimate power after these sticker freaks!

Yeah. That is annoying. But you can buy stuff that'll make short work of that goo...can't recall the name of it off the top of my head, though [IMG]

Goo Gone, Goof Off or even baby oil. You just basically need some kind of liquid to absorb the stickiness.

I think lighter fluid does the trick on pesky adhesives.

I used Goof Off on one of their stickers and it got rid of all the residue.

I usually use the girlfriend's nailpolish remover. It works, but sometimes makes the plastic a bit dull, matted, if you will.

Paint thinner, although it might make the plastic dull as well.

Yes that bugs me too. But it really bugs me with their new releases. The ones that they have to open up and put on display. I don't know about anyone else but when I purchase something brand new I do like it to be shrinkwrapped and untouched. Let alone, no stickers on the case itself.

I'm more annoyed by all the POP displays at video game stores, especially here in the city. It's nigh impossible to navigate through the store without knocking over some Xbox cardboard placard or hanging mobile of empty new releases.
