Earthquake MKV12 or Velodyne SPL1200II (not R)

Which one would you purchase? Opinons on either?

I would be using it for both music (40%) and hometheater (60%)

The Earthquake is a very powerful subwoofer and deserves the repuation it has..but you really can't go wrong with either model
