Eagles Greatest Htts 1971-1975 CD Question (1 Viewer)

I purchased this CD from Amazon back about 3 years ago. On the back of the CD outside cover it says 1976 as the date of the pressing however on Amazon's website it says 1990 is the date for the latest pressing of this CD. Has this CD been remastered since the 1976 version. Does the 1990 version say 1990 on the back of the CD outside cover or does it still say 1976. Thanks for the help.

It's my favorite CD & I'd like to have the best sounding version.

Also any chance this will ever be released on DVD-audio? Isn't it a Warner title.

I had heard that this recording was remastered, however, I haven't purchased that version yet. I have the original US release on Asylum Records and the ONLY date listed is 1976.
