OK.... much of the Lego is put together and the games assembled....
I did not have 'sexual' relations with that speaker!
I ran into Santa last night while he was dropping off my Christmas gift (a new ML Theater center, BTW), and he told me he got you a new blue dress and a gallon of "Spray & Wash".... Don't be tellin fibs now.... :D
Good jest. Absolutely. I rarely post, and when I do, I'm not usually critical of other products or I do so in an attempt to come to the aid of product that has unfairly been portrayed.
Merry Christmas to you and everyone here on the HTF!!!
Regards,
Herb Kane.

Jack,
I agree about the verticle limitations of a dynamic M-T-M
arangement. The design was intended to yeild a large horizontal
soundfield.
Every design has it's positives and it would be nice if no
design had a drawback but that's not going to happen.
As for the way something sounds.. That's entirely subjective.
Herb,
Nice christmas gift... And all I got was this stupid shirt!
:D

I love this forum, thanks for all the responses.

Will any dual-woofer design have limited vertical dispersion like an MTM design? I've always wondered why some designs create wave cancellation and others apparently do not. I understand the basics- just obviously not that well. What else must be taken into consideration when making a bipole main speaker?

If you can't tell, I love designing speakers :)

One last question: how do planar speakers with a small radiating surface fare? I noticed PartsExpress has their planar tweeter on sale- what charactoristics do those have?
