DVI Connection (1 Viewer)

My readings tell me that there are some potential incompatibility issues between a satellite receiver and HDTV unit when utilizing a DVI connection. I am in the market for a new HDTV Satellite receiver to interface with my DVI capable Hitachi 51swx-20b. Does anyone have any experience with a DVI connection? Should I only consider DVI capable satellite receivers or be content with a S-Video connection? Any comments or suggestions on this subject will be appreciated.

As far as I know, DVI is much better than S-Video. In the future you may need a DVI-HDCP input or you won't be able to view the program due to copy protection. At this point you will then have to use component video or S-video cables.
