Hey guys--I have a Toshiba 42HDX82 TV (a CRT RPTV). I want to hook up my PC to display some pics, etc. at a party I'm having. I'll check tonight, but I can't remember if my Radeon video card has a DVI out or not.

Either way, my question is, what type of DVI cable (DVI-I, DVI-D, etc.--I don't know much about the different types) will I need if:
    1. I have a DVI out on my video card
    2. I don't have a DVI out (in essence, what kind of VGA to DVI cable will I need)?

    Thanks,
    Andy

Andy, check the manual of your TV set (RTFM [IMG] ). There should be a section explaining how the DVI port works on that particular set including exactly what you can plug into it and how. If it can handle computer signals, the manual will list the supported modes.
