I'm looking at Blue Jeans Cable to purchase a DVI cable, but I am a bit confused about single vs. dual link. I have a Sammy HLP4663 and a SA8000HD/DVR box. How can I tell if they dual link capable?

You can look at the connectors and see. The cable boxes use single channel. However, I think the price is the same for the single or dual from Blue Jeans, so you might as well get dual.

Most everyting uses single link. Single link supports resolutions up to 1600 x 1200. If you have a TV that has higher resoution, it could use dual link I suppose. Of course then you will need a source that also supports that.

Thanks for the replies. I did notice that they are the same price. I'll try the dual and since its backward compatible anyway.
