Can I hookup my cable dvi to my tv hdmi?
Which would be better if no tv component available for ps2, s-vid to the tv or component to the reciever?
Could the excessive pixalization from the hd cable box be from our cheap splitter. We tryed changing the cable wires to AR pro series and it made no difference.

    Thank you for your help.

To use the digital connection, you'll need a special cable that's DVI on one end (for the cable box) and HDMI on the other (for your TV). Take the splitter out of the loop and you'll know the answer to that question (I'd guess that it's part of your problem)
