It would appear that Warner has abandoned their www.DVDAudioPreview.com Website. From at least three days ago until as of this typing, going to that URL brings up what looks like a search engine/clearinghouse that has nothing to do with Warner Bros. or DVD-Audio. This is the site the label refers/referred buyers to via survey card inserts to Warner DVD-A releases such as Hotel California.

Have they been hacked? The site looks kinda "official," but I have not found any contact information.

Or has Warner quietly abandoned the site? It was a poorly maintained/updated site so, if they have indeed simply abandoned it, it would be an ironically fitting, ignominious end (and yet another example of the labels' poor support of the hi rez formats).

According to the Internic, the site's "Creation Date" and "Updated Date" changed in September 2003.

Odd. If Warner gave up this site, one would think they would at least refer visitors to the site to WarnerBrosRecords.com for, say, a couple months . . .
