DVD/VHS recorder (1 Viewer)

Hello All,

I would like to purchase a DVD/VHS combo recorder to replace my old VCR. I would like to have a built in digital tuner, HDMI output and something that is reliable as my 10 year old VCR. Any recommendations?

I suggest doing a search on the catagory at Amazon.com and read the reviews. DVD recorders as a catagory are pretty "blinky," with all kinds of idiosycrancies. If you can find one with an approval rating better than 50% (i.e., 4-5 star recommendation) you're doing good. If you can find one as good as 75%, you'll have a winner.
