Well, I must be the only person on this forum who has triple-dipped on Salo
Water Bearer VHS
Criterion LD
Criterion DVD

I'd like to have the Italian DVD of Salo, it's a beautiful, pristine transfer...but no English subs!!

As for DVDs that no one else has, I probably have too many to mention (I also own Shoeshine and Can't Stop the Music :b )

Lew, may I ask why a Criterion version of Salo is $400? I've seen Salo CC for much cheaper than this. Is this a Criterion repressing I'm seeing from $50 - $150?

Does a home-recorded (from what source, I have no idea) Betamax cassette of Salo count? If so, then I have actually triple-dipped as well.

I've sextuple-dipped The Rutles. I own the soundrack on 8-track , LP, and CD, and the movie on VHS, Jananese LD, and DVD.

One other disc that I suspect no one else owns is the Euro-horror film Nude for Satan. Whenever I show a list of my discs to guests, that title always jumps out and attracts attention for some reason.

I do know that there were a reasonable number of fake Cirterion's, though.

Well, you weren't far off. Some "Buy it Now's" on e-bay currently have them between $290-$325 for a certified legit copy.
