Well I just found out Elite storage design went out of business. I actually placed an oder with them, after five days and my card was not charged yet I began to worry.

This model in the link is perfect for me. The marquee is not the important part. I can order that from "showoff displays"

Does anyone know where I can find a similar Wall Mounted Wood DVD cabinet like this. I am so mad they are still taking orders, I thought I found the perfect DVD unit.

This shelf design could easily be duplicated for less than $40. Do you know anyone with a minimal amount of power-tools? A couple of cuts, a good sanding, add a nice stain and voila! Doing it yourself would also allow you to choose the wood, possibly matching any furniture already in the room.

Just my two cents...

Well now that I saw the picture I might have to make one myself. Might cost a little more than $40 for good wood.

Check your local ACE Hardware store. Mine rents tools like $10 a day for hand power tools (drill, circ. saw, palm sander, router)

I called my father, he has the tools but I do not live in the same town as he does (Im in St. Louis, MO he is at Lake of the Ozarks about 170 miles away) I emailed him the link at the site.

I asked if I could use his tools some weekend, he told me he enjoyed stuff like that and he would just build it and I could pick it up. So that is good news.

IKEA sells several wall units in a similar "clean" look, but they almost always have a blonde wood. They're not exactly the same as the elite, but some people might find the link useful:

http://www.ikea-usa.com/catalog_onli...al_catalog.asp

goto "wall units media & storage"
then "media accessories"

The BENNO on page 105 is nice. Holds 70 DVDs/$30.

IKEA will ship, if you don't have one near you.
