I'm interested in hooking up my set-top DVD player to my PC's sound card (SB Audigy) in order to use my Klipsch 4.1 speakers. My (puny) television's puny speaker just doesn't cut it. Is this possible? If it is, could someone please tell me what connects and wires I'd need to use to utilize this?

Thanks!

Well....you can't really send the sound from source to sound card, unless you have one of those drives with all the digital inputs for those who want to record music.....if you have a dvd drive in the computer, that will put the sound straight to your sound card without any additional connections, plus you get better picture quality...depending on your tv of course, if your tv has no component inputs or higher, then a pc monitor will give you better picture...just something to consider.
