DVD-R's and Malata (1 Viewer)

Hey all,

I just purchased the 520 and am loving it except for the problems it has with playing DVD-R's. It plays very few of them. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a media that it "likes" more than others? Some of my Memorex ones work and the Panasonic does as well...but I'm trying to get one that works more often than not. I would love to keep on using this player for everything.

I haven't tried the media you've mentioned, but I've burned a few DVDs using Apples DVD-R media, and they've all worked with my Malata.

I have the Malata N996 & no problems playing DVD-Rs. I've tried Apple, esbuy.com & PrimeDisc brand DVD-Rs.

Princo's are bad, they play but pixelate heavily towards the end.
DVDPro are perfect, almost 400 successful discs, no problems with Malata N996, and at less than a $1 each
