DVD Region 'Jumper?; (1 Viewer)

Anyone know of a good program that illiminates Regions for PCDVD players? I tried DVD Genie, and I thought it was set up properly, but each time I pop in a Region 2 DVD, it states that I only have a few times left before the region change becomes permanent.. and each time the number gets lower...

Any ideas, or program recommendations?

Sorry I can't help (tried Genie too) eventually I just gave up and only use my main player now (chipped) and leave the computer to other tasks!
I too would welcome an answer if there's one out there. I wondered if it's something built into the newer drives or PC's to protect against this, Microsoft are so good at stopping free will

You need to flash the drive's firmware.

I think that's where I ended up last time and chickened out:frowning: I was scared I trashed the drive because I had no idea what I was doing.
