DVD recorders that flags 16:9

    All of my newer home video recordings are done in 16:9 but my current DVD recorder doesn't flag 16:9 so everybody look tall and skinny if the DVD recording is played on a 4:3 TV.

    Would you guys kindly post a list of standalone DVD-Rs that allow me to flag my recording?

    The Tosh xs-52 does.

    The Toshiba RD-XS32 does also.

    Thanks for the info. Any other brand does this 16:9 flagging?

    I believe the newer Sony's do (GSX300?). I know the Sony GX7 does.

    How about any one of the Panasonic line?
    These Toshibas, can I enter manual chapter stop or is it auto only like the Panasonic?

    On the Tosh you can do alot. It's realy overwhelming at first. Have a look at the user manual. I think the manual that comes with it has more info.
