Can anyone explain to me the difference between a $100 dvd player a$500 and one that goes for a whopping $2000.
I know the sound mechanics will be greatly enhanced but does the picture get much better. I enjoy listening to music. Am I better getting a cheap dvd and a high quality cd player or can a dvd that costs 2 grand take care of business

That's a complicated question.....when It comes to video quality, your video display (monitor) would play a big part on what is output from your $100 or $2000 dvd player....There is video quality differences between a $100 player and one that cost $500....Is there a $400 improvement ?....it all depends on how much it means to you........Personaly I have yet to see anything that would make me spend an additional $400 on a dvd player....But if your display is a high end one, then you shouldn't go cheap on the player.
