    Hi,

It seems that all the DVD Profiler Lists I click on have the same SKIN. I can't seem to find it. Can you please tell me what Skin you guys are all using. I see the banner ads so it must be the free one?

    Thanks

If you're talking about My Profiler (viewing DVD Profiler collections online), they're all the same, because I believe that's the default setting for lists that are uplaoded to the website.

It's called the DVD Profiler skin. There's also, for your collection on your own computer, the DVDPro Classic (which shows your purchase info date and price - the others don't),

DVD Empire, and DVD Express. There may be more downloadable skins by now - I didn't try to update that. The 4 I've described were available with a Profiler download about 3 months ago.

The DVD Profiler program's display can be changed to one of the many options available through the program and downloadable.

However, it sounds like you're referring to looking at other people's list, so this is strictly a MyProfiler thing. There are two MyProfiler "skin" options - the thing that changes is color. Default is the blue scheme, an alternate tan-colored option can be chosen from your MyProfiler options on Intervocative's site.

Okay -- now you guys have me curious.

I have DVD Profiler. About 800 movies

    filed with it.

How do I upload it to the internet in order

to create a link to my collection?

I went to their webiste, created an account,

but could bot find any information on uploading.

Would appreciate the help as I wish to join the

ranks of those of you who have their collection

    linked to this forum.

    Thanks

Ron, open up DVD Profiler on your computer and click on the Online pull down menu, than go to My Profiler under that menu and follow the steps they give you. Oh and of course be logged onto the internet when doing all of this[IMG] .

    Ron,

If you are trying to set it up now, you may be having problems. I think the site is down temporarily.

Why does my link give an 'adult titles' warning when I don't have any adult titles in my listing? (and can I get rid of the warning message?) Is it because I have unrated DVDs?

Yes, Unrated DVD's are counted as Adult titles and won't display them by default.

dvdprofiler crashed spectacularly for me a few days ago, and since nothing would work to fix it, i had to uninstall it, reinstall it, then download my collection from when i upoloaded it, but now I don't have any images.

Anyway I was wondering, is there anyway I can make dvdprofiler refresh all the images on all the titles in my wishlist, collection and ordered all at once?

the problem is If I try to refresh images it will only refresh the one title selected, and shift and control won't work to select more than one title, I have several titles locked because I was annoyed at having them constantly changed to reflect some grips name etc, so refresh profiles from ivs doesn't seem to work to get me the images for all the titles.

You know? I actually like browing through other people's DVD collections to see what they have. It gives me ideas for adding to my own collection. I also like seeing rare Criterion titles listed, like The 400 Blows.
    Nice collections, all!

You can refresh all images in the Preferences.
