Mark,

check your parental settings in the options menu. I assume Sex and the City is not rated, and unrated stuff is handled as an "adult" title by default. And those don't show up online unless you let it.

How do I change the way my profiler looks online? I have the standard default look and would like something different, or at the very least get rid of the ads on my site? I did purchase the program.

You can do all this if you login to your account on their website. Go to the My Collection link and follow to Change Options. They also have forums where you can chat or ask technical questions.

Weird, it works fine here. Here are my setup options that show everything online except porn:

In DVD Profiler, on my parental control tab it says:

MPAA Rating: "Adult" is selected, "or has adult genre" is checked. That way everything but porn is listed online.

"Allow adult titles" is checked, everything below that is unchecked.

Now, go to the DVD Profiler website and log on under My Profiler/My Collection. The following is checked here:

Visibility: Public
Include in Public listing: Everything except "adult titles" is checked
Include in Private Listing: Adult Titles

Note, you may have to re-upload your collection for any changes to become effective.

I fixed my online collection now. Too bad there are only 2 options for the web site look.

Mark, did you upload the revised collection to the online database? It doesn't do this automatically, so new additions to your local collection won't show up in the online unless you go through the uploading procedure.

Thanks for the advice. Things are looking better now.
Still, I cannot figure out why my lastest acquisitions
aren't showing up, as I always "upload to 'My Profiler'"
after I add them.
Still, it is much better, since my titles that might
seem adult are showing up. (Chris, I had set the peferences to allow "adult" titles, but I hadn't done
so at the myprofiler site, which I didn't know I needed
to revist.)
