Found on their forum this morning the possibility of the new software being ready this weekend, so sure enough, I found it on this link. 2.10 is a public release for premium users only. DVD Profiler Downloads

This software is a Beta release and not a Full public release. Sorry if I mislead anyone.:b

Any idea what's supposed to be new or improved in this version?

    I can't really tell.

My main problem is the numbering system. I have wishlist dvds numbered which screws up my whole database. Unfortunately, the only wasy to rectify the situation it to delete/re-add or move to owned/then back to wishlist.

I really do hope this one is faster than the 2nd release. It was touted to be so much faster and, if anything, is twice as slow.

If I'm not mistaken, they said that a Pocket PC version was in the works, but registered users (quite rightly) insisted that they get the bugs ironed out of the basic version 2.0 first. So I wouldn't be surprised to see it in the future though I have no idea when.

A Pocket PC Version would be incredible! I saw their "hint" on their website (which I thought was a little vague), and am axiously awaiting this version.

I have a Toshiba e740 PocketPC and will probably have to buy another memory card JUST for the DVDProfiler as my collection is nearing 600. BUT...just think of the convenience of having your collection stats with you as you shop. Printing out updated reports to carry with you is a pain when you have so many DVDs.

I can't wait! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

They've stated that they get about 10 to 1 more requests for the PocketPC version. I wouldn't be surprised if they try a palm version in the future. But right now they're working on the PPC app. One of the creators said that it has already saved him some money being in a store and pulling up the pricelist feature to check what other stores are charging. I can't wait, I just got a iPaq 5455 this month and I'd love to have a tool like this.
