I am getting a B&K Ref30 in a week or two and was wondering which DVD players pass a 24/96 signal on the digital outputs? I have a second generation Sony DVD player I've been using until now which doesn't even do DTS! But then again the receiver I was using as a pre/pro didn't do it either.

Any help would be appreciated.

Brian, the vast majority of DVD players from the major manufacturers pass a 24/96 bitstream through the digital outputs without downconversion. Www.crutchfield.com should tell you which of the players they sell that can do this.
