Does anyone know how to correct this problem. The Mp3s are large files about 50 mins each. How do I finalize? I tried the cd r in 6 different players none could play the cd.

    I found this.
"Remember that you should burn your CD-R using the ISO 9660 file system and your disc must be finalized.

Player's don't like MP3 CD's that are not "finalized." Some only want to play ISO9660 mode CD's (short file names)."

Finalizing should be an option in your burning program when you burn the disc...

Finalizing means closing the disc so you cannot add any additional data/sessions on to it...

I used friend Nero, doesn't that do it automatically?

I took my old interview Audio tapes, had a friend copy them to MP3 files, yet the DVD players won't play them, but it plays MP3 music files fine.

Sony says they will not work in mp3 form unless they are recorded at a 128 bitrate or higher.

How do I get these files to a 128 bitrate?

I'm shocked no one knows anything about this? Am I the only one that wants to play low bit rate mp3s?

I've found Panasonic DVD players will play lower bitrates, but the sampling rate should be 44Khz or perhaps 22Khz. For mono talk radio I use 22Khz sampling with a 24 or 32Kbps bitrate.
