Dvd Player. Which Is Better? (1 Viewer)

Hi,
I have a sony dvd player and have never had a problem. Looks and sounds great. But my question is this.
Am I missing something? My sony has DTS, 5.1 obviously, no progressive scan since I don't have HDTV......yet. It has a bunch of great features etc......
Am I missing something by not getting a more expensive player?
Seems like everyone complains about one thing or another with their players.

PS, I'd be willing to buy an expensive player, I just need the justification if I really am missing something.

You say yours is great and has many features and no problems, so I doubt there's much that would be a wow-that's-so-much-better improvement over your current one. Even the majority of cheap players nowadays are quite good. You'd have to pay some decent bucks to see a very noticeable upgrade, IMO.

Thanx Brad. I pretty much felt the same way as you. I kinda figured as much. I think I'll stay with what I have untill it breaks down.
