I have a Panasonic CP72 and sometimes when I play a movie, it will give me the message "This software has a 4:3 aspect ratio" even if the movie is widescreen. The movie still shows on my TV as widescreen and I DO have the Progressive Scan button pushed on the front. So why am I getting that message?

All that means is that it is not an anamorphic DVD. Some older DVD's are widescreen, but are not anamorphic (4:3).
