DVD player popping noise (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I am brand new to the forum so, here is my first of many stupid questions I am sure.

I have a Sony DVP560D player and lately it has been making a loud popping noise during play. It is very random and occassional. I am not sure I know what is causing it. Can anyone shed some light on this phenomenon? Thanks.

We need more detail. Is the popping coming from the actual player or from your speakers?

From the actual player. I think it just might be the heat causing the casing to expand. Thanks!
