DVD player for 2nd system (1 Viewer)

I'm currently putting together a second HT system and need some advice on DVD players. My current system uses a Panasonic RP91 and a NEC LT150 projector. My second system will be using a Toshiba 57H82 16:9 HD RPTV. I'm looking for a DVD player for it but I don't want to spend the $400+ it would take to get another RP91. I'm eyeing the Panasonic RP82 but am concerned because it doesn't do the scaling thing that made me buy the RP91 in the first place. Any recommendations on what to do with my second system?

From what i understand the scaling isn't always necessary depending on your display device, and most people who ahve tried the rp82 seem to like it just as much if not more than the 91, so maybe you would even get awayt with m,akign the 82 your main if scaling is necessary on your toshiba and not on your projector.

but i could be totally out to lunch here...
