I've had my Panasonic Dvd player for a year, and would like to clean it since my house collects dust (must be the insulation since it's a new house built in 1998).
i was reading an earlier thread about someone using one of those dvd drive cleaners with the brushes that fixed a problem with their dvd drive not recognizing discs.
im probably over-reacting, but im concerned that maybe the brushes on the cleaner disc could possibly scratch the lens, or maybe mess with the alignment of the lens. could that really happen?
tia! :)

Personally, I wouldn't do anything if my player were running OK. If it starts acting up, then I would.

I think if all is OK there is a risk in kicking up whatever dust is there.
