dvd or receiver dac? (1 Viewer)

when i use the coaxial output while playing cd's on my dvd player are the internal dvd dacs being used or those in my receiver(yam rx-v520). just curious as i have a suspicion that those in my receiver may be better and would prefer to use them. my dvd player is the toshiba sd-2710. thanks for any thoughts or opinions.

you're using your receiver's DACs, which more than likely are better than the player's...
