I just watched the MTV show "The Osbournes" and I almost died of laughter during the first scene. Ozzy is removing the shrink wrap off of his "Best of Chris Farley" DVD, and tries to open in not realizing that there is a sticker under the plastic. After he gets that off (with a certain degree of difficulty), he tries to play the DVD, but some how ends up in the player's menu option. At this point he is cursing up a storm, and yelling for his son, Jack. I just wanted to share this with everyone (mainly because I'm supposed to be working on a term paper and I am the original procrastanator.)

There's a rumor going around that there's going to be a marathon of the entire season's episodes at the end of the season.
After that, it'd be great if a DVD set came out with cut/extra footage and at least 3 audio tracks:
Track #1: TV version audio
Track #2: Un-bleeped "Mother F*cking" Audio
Track #3: Commentary by Ozzy himself (also known as the "Mother F*cking Mumble Track"
Also, the disc really needs to include removable English subtitles so that everyone can actually understand everything Ozzy says. This means even the "Mumble Track" needs its own set of subtitles. :D

Is there any doubt in anyone's mind that we'll get an Osbournes release of some kind before too much longer? I'd guess either a best-of disc  or a Complete First Season set :) sometime around late Summer/early Fall.

I would love for a season set with extras.. An unedited audio track is a must... ;)
It's a good thing MTV re-runs the episodes all the time, as I have to watch each episode at least 3 times just to "catch" what Ozzy said half of the time.. ;)
"I love you all, but you're all [email protected] mad... :D "

Does anyone's MTV feed offer closed captioning of the Osbournes? Here there is no closed captioning, and I wonder if MTV even does it.

I've often wished I could watch along with a subtitled track just to be able to read what Ozzy says.

MTV never shows The Osbournes unbleeped in the U.S. Theoretically they could, but they've chosen to spare themselves the potential hassle. I do think they should show it unbleeped in late night, though (i.e., 3 AM or something like that).

God I would love a nice box set of Season 1 unbleeped. That would make me truly happy.

It's MTV for crying out loud...a marathon, even multiple marathons is almost a guarantee. They show the entire season of Real World and Road Rules multiple times before the season finale, and The Osbournes probably gets significantly better ratings.

The last episode was Closed Captioned for the first time. MTV must have heard people ask for it and they did it. Made a great show even better. I hope they go back and caption all the earlier ones now.

Count me as one who likes the bleeps.

Like South Park, it is almost funnier to hear it with the bleeps.

I think it would lose some of the charm if it was sans bleeps.

On CC, again, like South Park, they probably do that last.

I've watched some SP episodes on Wednesday and there was no CC, but when they showed the repeat, it was there.

When Kenny was alive (he's still dead BTW) you could sometimes understand what he was mumbling better than you can understand Ozzy. They never bleeped Kenny so he got away with the F-bomb in just about every show.
