    Hello,

Just started getting into DVD burning on my home computer and was wondering if anyone had suggestions for software?

I've played around with Nero 6 and would like other suggestions.

I've heard good/bad about Pinnacle Studio Plus.

Any good suggestions for programs that create nice DVD Menus as well.

    Thanks,

    Maxx

    Pinnacle Studio + is terrible.

Nero Express 3 is passable (if you haven't updated, do it now! new version is faster, more features, etc. and a free update to all Nero6 Ultra buyers at http://www.nero.com/)

Ulead's stuff is also very "generic" but passable and functional. DVD Workshop is not a bad product, MovieFactory is very basic but functional.

For high-end type stuff, Adobe Encore DVD is (so far) not so bad.

DVD Lab is still unbeatable unless you want to spend a LOT more money.

Avoid anything from Pinnacle. Their software is finicky and fragile and blows up all the time.
