I received my Pioneer Elite VSX-49TX about a week ago & am just having the time to play around with it. One thing that I have noticed is it really improved my DVD-Audio.

They have an analog multi-in adjust that will let you increase the bass along with other functions. Before on my VSX-39TX I wasn't able to get the bass out of my front mains that I am used to when listening to DVD-audio DVDS.

Now the Metallica - Black Album DVD-audio disc has thunderous bass. I'm finally enjoying DVD-audio the way that I was hoping for.

Can you give us your review on it. I'm looking at this receiver, the 47tx and the Integras and Denon as well. Can you tell us what made you to this decision. And on another note what did you do with the 39tx? [IMG]
How does this unit compare to the 39tx in movies?
