DVD Audio vs SACD (1 Viewer)

Patrick, O.K., so I guess it could be a dual-layer disc, with the DVD-Video material on one layer and the DVD-Audio material on the other. However they did it, it's great that they could put everything on one side. I also didn't know that the disc has a DTS track. That disc is loaded! By the way, I'll have to get the CD for comparison too.

Correct if I'm wrong but I read previously that silver DVD's are single layer and gold ones are dual layer. This is a silver disc which would mean single layer but I'm not sure about the silver/gold thing.

Anyway, it is a loaded disc and if you like the music of America then its a good buy for sure.

The "space available" situation is on a per album basis -- it's a function of:
  • Running Time
  • Ability to compress DVD-A data
  • Inclusion of single or multiple DVD-V audio soundtracks
  • Inclusion of non-program material (music videos etc)
So, I'm guessing that the America disc has a running time of around 40minutes or so, in which case, it would fit.
