On my way home from work last night ( I get off work at 2:30 am [IMG] ) I stopped by Wal-Mart to pick up Orange County and Frank Herbert's Dune SE. I put them in my cart and I decided to look around some more. After seeing the usual stuff I decided to leave. On my way down the last aisle the stockman was putting up a new display. He was putting up 2-packs of DVD's for only 14.88. I looked through the selection and I picked up 10 packs. A total of 20 widescreen
DVD's. Some of the movies they had were: Born on the Fourth of July with He got game, Mimic 1 and 2, Phantoms with Reindeer Games, Halloween H20 with ??, 2 pack of Children of the Corn, 2 pack of Hellraiser, Summer of Sam with ???, The Yards with Cop Land, and many many more. These are what I could remember. I put them on lay-a-way so I hope to watch these soon. Just wanted to let everyone know.

Apparently it's "Benny" from the TV Show L.A. Law [IMG]
I know that's not politically correct, but GEEZ LOUISE there is some poor pairing there! [IMG]
    G.I. Jane and Eddie...really!!
Perhaps the Mimic 2-fer for us, and that's about it here. [IMG]

Thats the point David hook up a good movie with a sub par or less wanted movie but still get them to move out the door. Either way it is still a pretty darn good deal and there are a couple of packs in that list which I will pick up if they are still available.

There are a couple I kind of want, but not their counterpart. I'm thinking that at under $15 for one, I might be able to pawn the second title off at CD Exchange or some other second hand retailer... assuming everyone else doesn't do the same. Those places still have tens of copies of the 5 free DVDs from 2 holiday seasons ago.

Buena Vista Home Entertainment (the parent company of Disney Video etc) paired 'em up. I only bought a Good Morning Vietnam / He Got Game and split it - I got Robin, my Denzel addicted friend has 'game' now. None of the other titles interested me enough to bother.
